Tag Your Photos with a GPS

Since I've been using SmugMug, I've been looking for ways to geo-code my pictures. Why? Because of this cool mapping feature that SmugMug offers. If the EXIF data in your image contains a latitude and Longitude, your images can be placed on one of these maps.

Unless you have an uber-expensive camera that can automatically geo-tag your image, you have to manually enter this information in SmugMugs database.

Enter GPS-Photo Link. This app imports your track log from your gps, and compares it to the times your pictures were taken. It uses this info to automagicly geo-tag your photos. How awesome is that?

All you have to do is carry your gps with you when you shoot photos. Piece of cake! Now if only this application was free.
